When Theodore (the main character from holes) went to Camp Green Lake he thought his life was over but he was wrong! In the new novel Armpit/Theodore is trying to regain his life after Camp Green Lake. His friend X ray, also from Camp Green Lake, has an idea to make a lot of money, by scalping tickets for a concert. There is a band that Theodore is scalping on that he takes a girl to see and meets the singer to the band in an unusual kind of way. Soon after they meet they both began to change. Will Theodore be able to help the singer named Kaira Deleon?

I enjoyed the book because I like music and action. That is what the book is mainly about. Kaira is a music star. There are a lot of conflicts which can solve a fight. And also there is a fight between El Genius (Kaira's father) tried to kill Kaira by beating her to death.

I would recommend this book to anyone 10 through 16 because there is a little bad words and violence. Also it would probably be pretty hard for little kids to understand what is going on.
